Social Cohesion Programme – Update April 2021

Please note – WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY TAKING ANY NEW APPLICATIONS UNDER THE SOCIAL COHESION PROGRAMME.

At its most recent Board meeting, Trustees expressed concern about the level of need they were seeing across all of the Foundation’s main funding programmes.

With significant and increasing demand for funding from organisations and groups, a decision has been taken to pause the Social Cohesion Programme after the current June funding round until at least the summer of 2022.

This will allow funding to be focused on meeting the needs of organisations supporting some of the most vulnerable and marginalised people in communities, which has been exasperated by the Covid pandemic.

This pause will also give the Trustees time to reflect and learn from those grants it has already awarded under this Programme and where necessary to make possible changes to best achieve the ambitions they have for this Programme.

Please contact Tim Cutts – tim@allenlane.org.uk – for any queries about this Programme, or for further clarification.

See below for some cases studies of a selection of the grants we have made.
