Kintyre Link Club
Kintyre Link Club operates as a mental health drop-in five days a week from a community centre in Campbeltown on the Kintyre Peninsula. It has been running for 20 years, and offers a range of activities and groups. The Club helps to lessen people’s isolation, promote welfare and feelings of wellbeing, and improve people’s self-esteem. It offers a supportive and safe environment and there are currently 36 members.
The Foundation made a two-year grant of £3,000 per annum at its February 2019 meeting of Trustees. The funding will contribute to general running costs of the Club, and enable it to continue and grow.
